Music City Drum Corps was founded by Keith Hall as Nashville’s first DCI Open Class competitive drum corps. The inaugural corps in 2009 had 47 members that performed in seven shows in the Mid-South and Midwest en route to the DCI Open Class Championships in Michigan City, Indiana.
Music City was approved in 2017 to move into World Class and had their first summer tour as a competitive World Class drum corps in 2018, with Hell on Wheels: The Final Journey of Casey Jones.
Today Music City Youth in the Arts exists to positively transform young people’s lives.Music City offers an accessible, elite learning experience through diverse programming that elevates the performance and life skills of our local youth community and members of our international drum corps.
